Chevalier de Bayard 2007 Vin de pays de l’Aude

by Terry 20. November 2009 05:45

chevalier-de-bayard-2007 A French red wine bottled by the German firm of Ferdinand Pieroth, this is a very mild and easy drinking red.

It has a very light, almost lolly water colour which is fairly representative of its other attributes, i.e. a light nose of berries and a very mild smooth palate which does not linger very long at all. There is no heavy tannins and no strong oak flavours, which made it very good and easy to drink with all types of snacks and meals.

Overall, a pleasant and easy drinking light red French wine, at an affordable price.
